Can you put the houses I find on a map so I can then narrow down my search by precise areas?

I think you should be able to sort by square footage because some people are looking for the overall most space for what they can afford especially when it comes to loft, studio flats.

In city areas such as London, parking is an essential criteria for searching.

It'd be nice to know how old a listing in the Rent section of your website is. Without it I have no idea if the listing was put up three years ago and just wasn't taken down!

I think you should have another search box or drop down box for people that are looking for certain things like a garage ect. Just put garage in the search box and only houses with garages will come up instead of sifting through all the houses that come up

Allow searching the text of each property matching your other criteria for specific words or phrases (e.g. new development, mews, mansion block, renovated, parking).

Perhaps also have the option to add a - (minus sign) to the beginning of words you want to exclude.

Primelocation have this feature implemented rather well.

use postcodes on the sale particulars as often a website asks for it when searching also your site isn't very reliable. I'd found a specific property I knew was for sale, viewed it and now when trying to look again the seach found noting available

When I search for a property, it is disappointing to find one I like only to discover that the owner or agent does not allow pets. If your program sorted for properties that allow pets, my search would be much easier....take a look sometime at rent.com or apartments.com from the USA.

unless you can filter out the retirement properties then there is not a lot of point in this website.
